An overview of gene edited crops globally

Abstract

Regulations are changing rapidly for gene edited crops. As part of the 2026 UK-ASEAN Precision Breeding Symposium, this presentation explores the current situation for gene editing regulatory change in crops, how this situation came to be and some recommendations for future regulatory change.
